Our Igbo folk are such a dull, boring and unsupportive lot.
I wonder how many of you will post a reply saying good morning or good-day back to me.
If I say something rotten, that is when our folk will join hands and say that is wrong with direct phonecalls.
I sound like a disgruntled individual don't I?
I don't care.
This is Vinnie.
Open, direct and straight.
Don't lose fact that I do like an occasional laugh also.
Morning all.

Good morning to you and to all ndi igbo wherever they are in the world
As someone who was born and bred in London but has grown up in the suburbs and thus away from London's Igbo communities, there doesn't appear to be much resources (particularly on the internet) for someone like me who would like to learn more about his cultural background and language. I can remember a site called 'Young Igbos' which no longer exists, no doubt due to lack of support.

I feel for you dear, try the ICSN meeting at laughing gravy bar & resturant, and try making some Igbo friends, who speak the language.
I haven't been to the meeting, but found out about it from the internet, hopefully i will join them soon. Chinyere

Hi
It looks like this meeting is on a Sunday. I'll try to make it, although unfortunately I won't be able to bring my wife as we have a small boy of 5 months at home and no babysitter.
