Igbo Youth Weekender

Igbo Youth Weekender is a jam packed supervised summer camp for Igbo teenagers aged 13 - 18 years old.

The aim of the programme is to help teenagers identify with their Igbo culture and equip them with the confidence to be the best versions of themselves.

What To Expect

The Weekender is a 2-night stay (Friday-Sunday) and costs £150 all inclusive (transport, accommodation, food, outdoor activities and workshops).

Our aim for the weekend is to:

INSPIRE: Career development and advice workshops with ICSN members in various highly skilled professions (Healthcare, Pharmacy, IT, Literature, Legal, Finance, and HR).


ENGAGE: Re-engage with the Igbo Culture through classes such as language, cooking, history and dance.


HAVE FUN, FUN AND LOTS MORE FUN: Outdoor and indoor activities including jet ski, quad biking, rock climbing, archery, team building, etc.. 

What’s Included?

  • Coach pick up and drop off from London Victoria Station

  • 24 hour adult supervision

  • Freshly cooked meals and drinks.

  • A range of fun filled outdoor activities

  • Dedicated team of qualified on-site professionals

  • Tuck shop

Additional Information

Location: Stubbers Adventure Park, Upminster, Essex (travel to and from the site will be provided from London Victoria coach station).

Spaces Available: 35

Payment Schedule: Secure a space through full payment of £150 or with a £30 initial deposit.
