Our Story

Where It All Began

ICSN was founded in 1998 by a young lady named Umunne Olie and a small group of committed individuals. They identified a gap in the market for young British-Igbos living in the UK to come together to identify, learn, promote and empower themselves through their Igbo culture and heritage whilst positively impacting the Igbo community.

Today, ICSN has grown from a small social network to a large organisation reaching thousands of people nationally and beyond. We are now the UK’s largest networking organisation for young adults of Igbo descent.
