What you can expect?

You will be guided by a professional Igbo chef who will give you tips and techniques, whilst you immerse yourself in cooking 4 pre-chosen Igbo dishes. On the day, you will meet the chef who will talk you through the cooking process and offer various methods and alternatives to cook the dishes to suit dietary requirements.

You will have your own cooking station and will cook under the supervision of the chef and ICSN Executives who will also be on hand to assist you.

And the best part is that you will also receive recipes of the dishes to take home.

Food is a main part of our lives as Igbo people as it brings families together at least once a day to reconnect. It does not only keep us alive and functioning, but it helps us to learn and immerse ourselves into other cultures.

Studying the art of Igbo cooking will help you expand your horizons in many ways. Not only will it help you become a better and more confident chef, it will also give you a deeper appreciation for seeing food as culture, food as art, your health and so much more, all of which you can pass on to your friends and family when you get home.
