Because Mentors matters

Mentoring in general is a process where (you) a senior or more experienced person (the mentor) is assigned to act as an advisor, counsellor, or guide to a junior (the mentee). The aim is to help both individuals unlock and develop their potential.

Becoming an ICSN mentor is wonderful way to not only give back to the Igbo community, but to also help someone else with their career.

Typical mentoring relationships can last between 6-months to 12-months and on average both individuals would connect monthly or bi-monthly (mentoring time and contact frequency would be completely dependent on individuals). Thanks to technology mentoring meetings can be done in person or virtually.

If you have never been a mentor before do not worry as we at ICSN have support tools and workshops you can attend to get you ready for this role.
